Road Safety Officer calls for a renewed focus around schools

As we head into the first full week of the new school year, Donegal County Council’s Road Safety Office is again stressing the need for motorists to allow more time for journeys and take extra care on the roads.

Road Safety Officer Brian O’Donnell says the new school year coincides with the end of summer, so weather and darker skies will also be a factor.

He’s urging people to stay focused, particularly in the vicinity of schools…………
