There’s outrage as a Donegal caravan park owner has taken the decision to ban dogs.
For the past 30 years, the animals were permitted on the site, near Clonmany.
George, a caravan owner says the banning of dogs which will come into force at the beginning of next season will affect 40% of caravan owners.
Speaking on today’s Nine til Noon Show, he says there was no issue relating to the dogs to fuel such action being taken:
In a statement the caravan park owner says they were left with no other option but to ban all dogs as they struggle to control dog litter.
After issuing letters, erecting signage and installing litter boxes the owner says they felt such drastic action needed to be taken.
