Wilbur was adopted by a family and in turn he saved their lives.
The family says their beloved rhodesian ridgeback rescued them all after he barked frantically in the middle of the night to wake them up, as their house was being engulfed in flames.
Wilbur was surrendered to Dogs Trust in December and adopted by a new family in January of this year.
A spokesperson from the organisation has said says Wilbur’s family gave him a second chance by adopting him, and in turn he saved their lives and their home.
