The Foreign Affairs Minister will meet Britain’s Northern Secretary in Hillsborough in Co Down this morning – to discuss the North’s political crisis.
Simon Coveney says restoring power sharing at Stormont, and respecting the results of May’s election, is top of his agenda.
Chris Heston-Harris was appointed two weeks ago by Liz Truss and is the 5th Northern Secretary in as many years.
Minister Coveney says he also wants to improve relations with the British government.
