Kilmacrennan’s Richard Kerr took his 2nd win of the season in the British superbike championships in the superstock class today at Donington park.
Kerr started on row two and got a good start and was circulating in fourth but as the race went on found the pace to challenge the championship contenders Davy Todd and Billy McConnell.
Kerr fought hard and got to the front with a few lap to go but a slight mistake going into the final corner which saw him slip back to third position but the young Kilmacrenan man showed his class by getting to the front with a lap to go to win his second race of the series.
This was an outstanding performance and sees him move up to fourth in the championship.
Richard starts on the second row tomorrow for race two.
