Donegal County Council is being asked to consider the development of a retirement village in Letterkenny.
Councillor Gerry McMonagle says there is a growing need for such a facility close to local amenities.
The Local Authority says that it is part of an active consideration.
However, Councillor McMonagle believes the Council needs to take the lead:
