A new GP has been appointed to take up the role in Dunkineely.
There was much concern in the local community over the future of Dunkineely Health Centre last year as it was left with no GP.
The HSE has today confirmed that Dr Janinda Muhandiramge will begin work on Monday on a full time basis.
