Former West Tyrone MLA Claire McGill has died.
A former teacher in Plumbridge, she was a Sinn Féin councillor in the the Glenelly Electoral Area on Strabane District Council from 2001 to 2011, and in 2007, she was elected to the assembly, again serving until 2011.
Among those paying tributes this afternoon is First Minister Designate Michelle O’Neill.
