A man has been hospitalised after being punched in Letterkenny last night.
Gardaí say they responded to the incident at around 10:30pm.
The man aged in his 40s was believed to have been on a Christmas night out when he was punched and then taken to hospital for what gardaí say are non life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
