Close to €30 million in TV licence revenue has been lost this year, after the payments controversy at RTÉ.
Over €124 million was collected up to December 10th, €27 million less than last year.
It’s expected a quarter of people will have refused to pay the fee by the end of 2023, double the figure for 2022.
