Sinn Féin spokesperson on Finance, Pearse Doherty TD, has called on the banking sector to pass on any interest rate cuts announced by the ECB today to mortgage holders.
The European Central Bank cut euro zone interest rates by a quarter of a percent.
The Donegal TD said that while the reduction by was welcome, he hopes it is passed on to all mortgage holders.
