A number of offensive weapons have been seized by Police in Derry.
During a routine traffic stop in the city last night, police stopped a driver with illegally tinted windows.
It then emerged that the motorist was in possession of offensive weapons, namely four telescopic batons and an axe.
The items were seized and the driver arrested for possession of offensive weapons.
They were later released pending report to the PPS.
