Electric Ireland offers third price drop in a year

Electric Ireland is reducing it’s prices for the third time in the past 12 months.

Prices will drop from 3% to 5% depending on customers’ plans.

The company is also not passing on planned increased network charges, which are due for all electricity suppliers next month.

One million people will benefit from the drop in prices, which comes into effect in November.
