A Donegal TD says the former Lifford Community Hospital building is being refurbished for use by the Children’s Disability Network Team in East Donegal.
Deputy Pat The Cope Gallagher told Highland Radio News today that he made contact with the HSE on foot of concerns within sections of the local community that the old hospital building was to be used to house asylum seekers.
He says he’s been assured that’s not the case…………..
In a statement, the HSE confirms the works are set to last six months, and when they’re completed, the building will be used to accommodate East Donegal CDNT.
