The murder of Donegal soldier Private Seán Rooney is to be discussed at the United Nations General Assembly.
The Donegal native was shot dead while on a UNIFIL peacekeeping mission in Lebanon in 2022.
Taoiseach Michael Martin is to meet the President of Lebanon to discuss the need for justice for Pte. Rooney, as well as the current state of Palestine.
