€25,000 awarded to improve outdoor swimming facilities in Donegal


€25,000 has been assigned to see the improvement of outdoor swimming facilities in Donegal.

Minister for Public Health and Wellbeing, Jennifer Murnane O’Connor today announced that swimming spots at Culdaff, Portsalon, Rossnowlagh, Magheroarty and Killybegs will benefit.

The money will provide new swim shelters, handrails, access ladders, safety notice boards, beach wheelchairs, and safety buoys marking 50m and 100m swim distances.
