A worker has died in an incident at Tayto’s site in County Meath.
The company says it happened at the site in Ashbourne this morning, and the person involved was an employee of an independent potato supplier.
The Health and Safety Authority is investigating the incident.
Tayto says it’s committed to supporting any investigations, and the safety and wellbeing of all on its site is its highest priority.
