The Northern Ireland Assembly has been told that many people feel abandoned because of a lack of services and supports.
West Tyrone MLA Daniel McCrossan told members the Assembly must acknowledge that a lack of planning has led to a situation where many older people are living in poverty.
Mr McCrossan said there isn’t a joined up health and social health policy, and that must be addressed as a matter of urgency.
He stressed it’s nothing more than older people deserve..…….
