A Donegal TD says he’s outraged that Uisce Eireann has not included the Gweedore Sewerage Scheme in its capital plan up to 2030.
Deputy Pearse Doherty had submitted a complaint to the EU Commission in 2015 about the lack of facilities in the area, resulting in infringement proceedings being taken against the state.
As a result, a scheme was started on a pilot basis, on the understanding that the second phase of the project would follow.
However, that didn’t happen, and now Deputy Doherty says development opportunities are being lost……………
