New rules are coming into effect, which will give mortgage holders information on how to save on their monthly repayments.
The Central Bank’s Consumer Protection Code has been updated in response to digital and online banking.
It’s hoped the changes will make it easier to switch mortgage providers, while insurance companies will no longer be allowed to automatically renew your policy.
