A new defibrillator has been installed outside Rossnowlagh Surf Club, making it available for immediate use in an emergency.
The AED has been placed in an unlocked, alarmed cabinet on the outside wall of the clubhouse so it can be accessed quickly when needed.
The surf club is asking people in the area to be aware of its location and says anyone using the defibrillator should contact 999 or 112 immediately.
The club says spreading awareness of the facility is vital.
