A 28-year-old man has pleaded guilty to shooting dead the boss of American healthcare company Optum, which has a significant presence in Letterkenny.
But lawyers for Luigi Mangione say he can’t be assured a fair trial.
They’re now trying to get a state murder charge thrown out, over the death of Brian Thompson in 2024.
