
In Donegal, rents have risen by more than four per cent over the past year, with the average rent for a three-bedroom house now at €1,362.
Market rents in the county were 4.1% higher in the second quarter of 2026 than they were a year earlier.
Across the country, rents increased by 1.4% between March and June.
That’s a significant slowdown from the 4.4% increase recorded in the first three months of the year.
