Donegal Mountain Rescue Team have added a new vehicle to its fleet.
The Toyota Land Cruiser is 80% part-funded through the CLÁR Programme 2026 by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, while the remaining 20% came from donations.
In a social media statement, DMRT says the new vehicle will greatly enhance their response capability and enable them to bring lifesaving equipment across the county in severe weather and off-road into remote environments when people are injured and in need of urgent care.
