There were just three trainee solicitors in Donegal last year.
That’s according to data published by the Law Society of Ireland.
Across the country, there were 581 trainee solicitors, meaning Donegal accounted for just 0.5% of the total.
Meanwhile, there were 148 practising solicitors in the county.
