A security alert in Omagh ended last night with four suspected viable explosive devices recovered and a teenage boy arrested.
Police were carrying out a planned search at Gardenville Avenue yesterday morning when a suspicious device was discovered.
Cordons were put in place and residents evacuated while Ammunition Technical Officers examined the scene, with three further items subsequently found.
The PSNI believes all four devices are viable and they are due to undergo forensic examination.
A 16-year-old boy remains in custody as police work to establish the motive behind the incident.
They are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and are urging people not to speculate while the investigation continues.
