Dunfanaghy fisherman who died off Horn Head named locally

The fisherman who died off the coast of Horn Head yesterday has been named locally as John Parry, a native of the area from Dunfanaghy.

Mr Parry suffered a medical emergency, triggering a multi-agency response after a local fishing vessel raised the alarm.

He was brought ashore by the Mulroy Coast Guard, and will be laid to rest tomorrow at the Old Clondehorkey Church Graveyard.
