An Inishowen councillor says there is a serious staff shortage at the home care administration office in Inishowen, and that’s impacting on clients, families and carers themselves.
Cllr Martin McDermott says people are reporting that it’s almost impossible to get through with queries about entitlements and allocations, and in many cases, those allocations are not being processed in time because of the sheer wright of work the staff in the office have to get through.
Cllr McDermott is stressing this is not the fault of the staff themselves, it’s the fault of a system which has denied them the support they need……..
