A man in his 40s has been sentenced in relation to a number of commercial burglaries and attempted burglaries in the Cityside area of Derry, dating from 2019.
44-year-old John Patrick McGilloway appeared at Derry Crown Court yesterday, charged in connection with a series of burglaries in 2023 and December 2024 and a single count of burglary from July 2019.
He received a total sentence of 4 years, with half to be served in custody and half on licence.
