The death has taken place of Gerard Given, Fintra Road, Killybegs Co.Donegal F94 Y5Y9.
Gerard, formerly of Hillhead, Ardara, passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of Donegal Town Community Hospital, after navigating a long and challenging illness, borne with dignity and bravery, never losing his fiercely independent spirit, sense of humour and love of life.
Gerard will be sadly missed by his wife Noelle and his sister Marian, together with his nieces, nephews, extended family and loyal friends.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Nellie, infant brother Patrick, sisters Eileen, Gladys and Frances.

His remains will repose at his residence this evening, Sunday 11th of October, from 4p.m to 8p.m and tomorrow, Monday 12th October, from 1p.m to 7p.m.
House strictly private at all other times.
Funeral from there on Tuesday morning at 11a.m to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara for 12 noon funeral Mass, followed by a private Family Cremation at Lilly Hill Crematorium, Letterkenny.
