The death has taken place of Michael Canavan RIP: 9th October 2026, late of Muff, County Donegal.
Beloved husband of the late Eileen, loving father of Siobhan, Rory, Kevin, Conor, Miceal, Padraig, Sean the late Clodagh, father-in-law of Geraldine, Peigi, Paul, Jill and Paula, much loved grandfather of Diarmuid, Eamon, Niamh, Bronagh, Aoife, Caithlin, Trasa, Miceal, Carmel, Muireann and Blanaid, Daniel, Aideen, Katie, Ellen, Niall, Dara, Megan, Callum, James, Kathleen and Liam, cherished great grandfather to Finn, Noa, Ruby, Shea, Caelan, Thomas, Cahir, Cliodhna, Daire and Eoghan and dear brother of Pat and the late Maeve, Ivor, Carmel, Colm and Joan.
Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at WJ O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU between 5pm and 8pm on Saturday 10th October 2026.
A private cremation will take place at Lily Hill Crematorium, Letterkenny on Monday 12th October, 2026 at 3pm.
