Eight new Gardaí are being assigned to Donegal Roads Policing Units.
The Assistant Commissioner for Roads Policing, Denis Ferry, confirmed that numbers will increase from 21 to 29.
Additionally, seven Gardaí will join the Unit in Sligo-Leitrim, bringing their numbers from 15 to 22.
