With the Lough Swilly Bus Company facing closure at the weekend, the government is being urged to ensure that there is continuity of bus services in Donegal, particularly on school runs.
Donegal North East TD Charlie Mc Conalogue is Fianna Fail’s Education Spokesperson, and he’s already been in contact with the Department of Education and other government offices.
He says if the worst comes to the worst and the company ceases trading with the loss of 80 jobs, measures will have to be taken over Easter to ensure there are services in place when school resumes on Monday week.
Deputy Mc Conalogue says that’s a task that must begin immediately…….
