The Commonwealth Games begins tonight with the opening ceremony in Glasgow.
Organisers claim a global television audience of one-and-a-half-billion people will watch tonight’s ceremony at Celtic Park.
The actual competition action starts there tomorrow, and runs until a week on Sunday.

There’s two boxers from Derry heading for ring action, Sean Mc Glinchey and Conor Coyle while Stephen Friel is on the boxing coaching panel.
