A subsidy to grant cover for a free bus pass scheme for the elderly and disabled on the Buncrana to Derry route has been reinstated.
The service was taken over by McGonagle Coach & Bus Hire following the closure of the Lough Swilly Bus Company but the Department of Social Protection had, until now withheld the subsidy on the route.
