Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse has been charged with violent conduct by the FA after elbowing Seamus Coleman in Sunday’s defeat over Everton.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez said Cisse was lucky not to have been sent off in the game for what he said was a pre-meditated elbow on the Donegal defender.
The forward who scored his fifth goal in six Premier League games on Sunday has until 6pm today to respond to the charge.
