A driver has been arrested and charged to appear in court after testing positive for Cannabis and failing a roadside breath test. The motorist was subsequently disqualified from driving after the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit pulled them over in the early hours this morning. Significant increase in harassment and abuse of LUH staff

The number of reported incidents of violence and aggression against staff at Letterkenny University Hospital trebled between 2016 and 2018, according to Freedom of Information figures obtained by the Donegal Democrat. Civil case against John Downey taken by Hyde Park victims’ relatives

A civil action has opened in London seeking to have Donegal man John Downey held responsible for the 1982 Hyde park bombing, in which four members of the Household Cavalry lost their lives.
