The death has taken place of Ita Carr (née McGeehin), Cornagill, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, October 14th, 2026, peacefully at St Eunan’s Nursing Home, Letterkenny.
Predeceased by her husband Paul, son Benny, and her siblings.
Sadly missed by her sons Paul (Ann), Conal (Margo), her daughters Maeve (Paddy), Mary (Eunan) and Nuala (Michael), her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, grandchildren Brendan, Máire, Benny, Clíona, Colm, Oisin, Rory, Paul, Siubhán, Ailbhe, Jennifer and Conal, great-grandchildren, Luisne, Paco, Fódhla, Laoise and Nora, and her wide family circle and many friends.

Reposing at the home of her daughter Maeve, Cornagill (F92C8VX) on Friday, 16th October, and Saturday, 17th October, from 12 noon to 9.00 pm on both days, concluding with the Rosary each evening.
All are welcome to come and pay their respects.

Funeral Mass on Sunday 18th October, at 11.30 am, in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine (F92PN81), which can be viewed online at https://www.youtube.com/@churchoftheirishmartyrs4657 followed by burial in the family plot in New Leck Cemetery.
