The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of James Ferns, Glebe Linsfort, Buncrana F93R493.
He will be reposing at his residence from 11am tomorrow Sunday.
Predeceased by his son Jim.
Sadly missed by his wife May and his children Paul, Shaun (Martina) and Ciaron (Kylee) and his grandchildren.
Parking available at the chapel and football pitch.
Leaving there on Tuesday at 10:30 am for 11am Requiem Mass in The Star of the Sea Church, Desertegney with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
