The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of James Johnston, Muntertinny, Raphoe.
Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, sisters Maggie, Molly, Martha and Ruby.
He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Robert, Jack, Tommy and sisters Sadie and Kathleen.
Also his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
His remains will repose at the home of his nephew John & Sharon Johnston, at Muntertinny, Raphoe F93NH73, today Saturday 24th October from 1pm – 10pm and tomorrow Sunday 25th from 1pm – 10pm.
Family and close friends welcome.
The Funeral will leave from there on Monday 26th at 1.30pm, going to Raphoe Presbyterian Church for a Service of Thanksgiving for his life, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
