The peaceful death has taken place at her home, on Monday 5th of October 2026, surrounded by her loving family of Jean Devenney (née Doherty) 13, Wolfe Tone place, Letterkenny. (F92 FAE6).
Deeply missed by her loving husband James, daughter Elaine, sons Declan, Paul, Aidan (Bridie) and Kieran. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her sister Kathleen McGinley (Hughie) and extended family, friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by her infant daughter Donna, parents Michael and Mary Doherty and sister May.
Reposing at her late residence today, Monday 5th October from 6.00pm to 9.00pm and on Tuesday 6th October from 12 noon to 9.00pm, concluding with Rosary on both nights.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am in St. Eunan’s Cathedral on Wednesday 7th October, which can be viewed at www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by burial in New Leck Cemetery.
