The peaceful death has occurred in his home of John Stewart, Runclevin, Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal, F92X961.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Ellen, his sons Alaistair (Yvonne), Francis (Agnes), Mervyn (Noreen) and daughter Jennifer (Paul), 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, brothers Jimmy, David (Sheelagh) and sisters Jean (John) Canada, Isobel (Tom), and Christine (Michael), brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Wake starting at 11.00 a.m. on Sunday, 30th August 2026, with the wake continuing until removal for the funeral.
Funeral Service in Holy Trinity Church, Hornhead Road, Dunfanaghy, on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 3.00 p.m.
Burial afterwards in Clondahorkey Cemetery.
