The death has occurred of Joseph Rodden, Raheny, Dublin and formerly of Creeslough, Co. Donegal.

Joseph died peacefully on August 8th 2026 under the care of the wonderful staff at St. Francis Hospice in Raheny. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eveyln, his parents Kate and Neil, his brothers Neil and John and his sister Patsy.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his brother Bill, his sons Paul, John, Martin, and Mark, his daughters-in-law Sarah and Ying-Chieh, his grandchildren Aoife, Naoise, and Aisling as well as by his nieces and nephews, extended family, and his dear friends and neighbours.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at St Francis Hospice, Station Road, Raheny, Dublin (D05 E392) for viewing from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on Wednesday August 12th 2026. Followed by removal to St Michael’s Church, Creeslough, Co. Donegal (F92 XD92) to arrive at 8.00 p.m to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass there at 11.00 a.m on Thursday August 13th 2026,  followed by burial in St. Columba’s Graveyard, Termon, Co. Donegal (F92 X4D6) where he will be reunited with Evelyn.
