The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny hospital of Peggy Barrett (née McGonagle) Portnoo, Co. Donegal surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved parents Margaret, John and her brother Billy, Greencastle.
Peggy will be sadly missed and forever loved by her devoted husband Patrick, her loving daughter Tanya (Christopher), sons Paul (Claire) John Francis (Ann Marie) and her grandchildren Jessica and Jasmine.
Deeply regretted by her brother Johnny (Philomena), sisters Eileen (Michael), Roisin (James) nieces and nephews and her heartbroken extended family, neighbours and her many dear friends.
Peggy’s remains will repose at Shovlin’s Funeral Home Sandfield on Thursday, 29th October, from 2-8pm followed by removal to her late residence.
Family home private to family and close friends.
Funeral from there, on Saturday afternoon at 1.15pm to Iniskeel Parish Church for 2pm funeral service with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
