It is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of Roseanne Cassidy (née Fletcher), Buncrana, peacefully at Cornfield Care Centre, 18th September, 2026.
Beloved wife of the late John, formerly 5 Oakfield Road, Derry.
Mother of Sally, Margaret, John, Roisin, Una, Emmett, Pearse, Columba, Edward, and the late Clare.
Mother in-law of Ronnie, Gerry, Corinne, Roisin, Siúinín and Nicola.
A much loved and devoted grandmother and great grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Roseanne will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
May she rest in peace.
Roseanne will be reposing at her daughter Margaret’s home, 43 Coney Road BT48 8JP (next to Culmore Country Park) from 12pm to 9pm on Saturday (September 19th) and Sunday (September 20th).
A service of thanksgiving will take place in River City Church, 87-89 Irish Street, BT47 2DA on Monday 21st September at 11am.
Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Family time please on the morning of the funeral from 8.30 am to 10.25 am.
