A Donegal County Councillor is calling for a meeting to discuss how the Inishowen 100 route can be rejuvenated.
The route begins and finishes at Bridgend, covering many small towns and villages on the peninsula including Culdaff, Clomany and Ballyliffen.
Councillor Martin McDermott believes that due to the huge publicity the Wild Atlantic Way has received of late, the route has been undermined.
He says the route covers places the WAW does not, therefore a tourism initiative should be put in place whereby both routes could compliament each other………..
