Body of man recovered from Downings Bay

The body of a man has been brought ashore at the pier in Downings.
We understand the body was spotted in Downings Bay by divers this morning, and the coastguard was
called. The body was recovered, and has been brought to Letterkenny General Hospital for a post mortem examination. The identity of the man has not yet been established.
A garda investigation is underway.
