Management at the ‘Keith Prowse’ call centre in Lisfannon, Buncrana are expected to release a statement tomorrow on speculation that a number of job losses are imminent.
According to today’s ‘Inish Times’ up to 20 jobs could be lost.
Keith Prowse is a ticketing call centre based in Lisfannon, handling ticket sales for a number of high profile events including music festivals, sporting fixtures, and the Chelsea flower show.
The IDA backed company moved it’s ticketing operation from Britain to Inishowen in 2002, employing over 100 staff.
However there is now unconfirmed speculation that a number of jobs will be lost, with other staff having their working week reduced.
When contacted by Highland Radio News today, a company spokesperson would not comment on specualtion of impending job losses only to say that management were currently meeting and that a statement will be released at some point in the next 24 hours.
