There are fears that a pilot cross border out of hours GP doctor service in Inishowen could be removed if more people do not avail of the service.
While a similar scheme in the south of the county has proved very popular there has been a low uptake for the service in border villages in the north of the county.
Seneator Cecilia Keaveney is blaming this on a lack of awareness and has welcomed a committment from those who run it to address that issue.
