Aer Arann examiner confirms 14 expressions of interest in company

The examiner to Aer Arann, Michael McAteer of Grant Thornton, has said there have been over 14 expressions of interest in the airline.
Mr McAteer said he is confident they will have an investment party coming to the fore very soon.
He said Irish airlines are not interested in the company but there is interest from the overseas aviation sector.
The had been concerns over the future of the Aer Arann’s service at Donegal Airport, but customers have been assured it is business as usual.
